favorite comedy show: life on the d list

Thanks for the post from Darrick Moreno - guest blogger

Kathy Griffin is one of the best female comedians out there. She knows her stuff, and she isn't afraid to make bold statements about her beliefs. I think her show, "Life on the D List," is one of the most hilarious shows out there. It is a show that depicts the backstage life of Kathy Griffin, along with some of her best stand-up comedy acts.
I always try to catch this program on the Bravo network that my Direct TV dealer in Boston set me up with. It's an awesome show with so much punch. One recent episode I watched featured Kathy Griffin taking an adventure to Wasilla, Alaska. The reason? She wanted to meet Levi Johnston, the guy who fathered Bristol Palin's child. Even while making such bold political moves like befriending Levi Johnston, Kathy Griffin has the ability to charm anyone and everyone. It was great to see how much the people in Wasilla embraced Kathy Griffin, rather than dismiss her for her differing political views. It's also cute to see how much Kathy Griffin bonds with her own mother on the show. In many of her comedy acts, Griffin makes her mother the focal point. She is always making fun of the different "hang ups" in their relationship, which gives other women a way to deal with similar issues.
Overall, "Life on the D List" is a great program to watch!
